Getting Serious About Blogging…
It’s the summer holidays and I’ve got a bit of time to start putting the pieces together. So far, I’ve been excited by the possibilities of blogging in the classroom, but haven’t really had the time to investigate. Now I’ve got the time, I begin to see many possibilities.
Some of the reading that has inspired me further includes:
These are packed full of good advice and I recommend them to anyone interested in starting up a blog… I’ll be trying to absorb and implement many of the ideas they suggest over the coming days/weeks/months/etc…
In the meantime, I thought I should publish all the blogs I’ve started so far. They are all designed for a specific purpose/audience, so may not be of particular interest to everyone. My School Blogs:
As you’ll see, I’ve used the Andreas09 1.5 by Ainslie Johnson theme, not because I have any particular liking for this theme, but because it is possible to customise the colour of the Header. I am very tempted to move them all over to Connections 1.0 by Patricia Muller as this will give me the option to come up with a new header for each class… I sense a class competition coming up!
