Dream It… Be It…

September 28, 2007

The wiki created by one of my colleagues – MidsummerDreaming – is now available for public perusal! As I mentioned, the class have taken to the idea like a duck to water. In fact, they have been editing it at all hours of the day and night… as I noticed at 7:30 this morning when I fired up my email to find that there were live edits going on from the back of 7am!

The teacher will be making a dedicated Blog available soon so that people will be able to post comments and suggestions about the wiki, but in the meantime, just enjoy that fact that a lot of pupils have been working extremely hard to create a new and stimulating resource about one of Shakespeare’s best known plays…

What a great example of wikis at work Mr W! All credit to Miss Duffy and her students.

I love the Aunty Flo page – lol!

Thanks AB… Though the inspiration has come from Koty Zelinka’s MySpace project (Links to follow when I can get access to MySpace!)

I suggested a wiki as we can (for the time being) still get access to them at work…

Excellent – will use as a fine example of how the students are using the web – fighting a rear guard action up here trying to get some people to understand how we can use blogs etc to improve or get students writing etc.
